this is my interpretation of a good old film noir / glamour shot from the 1940s. a hard light straight to the face with a rim / fill light. beautiful people look good with this approach. unfortunately, i am neither glamorous nor young or handsome so the hard light takes its toll making me rather look like a villain than a prince.
