the big migration

after my previous provider hosteurope (what an ironical name) was sold to the american company go-daddy and subsequently announced that they would change all services to microsoft365 i decided that it was time to make a move. to make it short: it is a lot of very confusing work for someone without it / admin knowledge but once all work is done it is silently rewarding to know that things are in a better place now.

- dns-registration: www.inwx.de (decent prices, good service, located in berlin)

- email service: www.tuta.com (costly if you need custom domains with several users but the most secure option of all, located in germany)

- messenger: www.signal.org (free, encrypted and all data is local)

- website host: www.github.com (i know it is ms but since a website is public thing i thinks this is okay and it is free with an ssl-certificate)

you can see my points of contact in the about section.

I do not want to educate others but if you are interested in making your digital life a bit more encrypted, safe and private you might want to check this website:
